June Concert WSJK - Artur Kaczorek!

On June 22 at 8 PM, Artur Kaczorek will perform songs by Jacek Kaczmarski on the small stage of the Old Monastery.

Artur Kaczorek has long been connected with Kaczmarski's work - he discovered it through "Obława" while still in primary school. He has progressed from imitation at scout gatherings to his own interpretations, which have earned him awards at the most prestigious festivals dedicated to this body of work. Some listeners believe he perfectly captures "Jacek's style", while others say he "sings in his own way". As the saying goes, disagreement among critics signals an artist's harmony with himself.
