Zofia Olesik and Łukasz Byrda - Concert for Henryk Wieniawski's Birthday

Violinist Zofia Anna Olesik and pianist Łukasz Byrdy perform at the Centre of Tradition and Culture of Komorniki Municipality on Sunday, 12 July 2026 at 17:00. The programme celebrates the birthday of Henryk Wieniawski and features works by Wieniawski, Saint-Saëns, Ysaÿe, Prokofiev and Chopin. This is the second of two Polish dates on the violinist's tour; Olesik will first appear in Poznań at the Aula UAM. The concert pairs violin virtuosity with piano accompaniment, spanning repertoire from the Romantic era through the twentieth century.
