A symphonic concert at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw takes place on 12 December 2026 at 6 p.m. Mikhail Pletnev conducts the National Philharmonic Orchestra in a programme combining his own Suite for Cello and Orchestra with selections from Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty ballet. Steven Isserlis performs as cello soloist. This is the second of two Warsaw dates for the artist in Poland. The National Philharmonic, opened in 1955 on Jasna Street, remains the country's principal concert hall and home to the National Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir.
