Blues Caravan 2026 - 20th Anniversary Edition - with Laura Chavez, Matthew Curry & Elise Frank

In 2026, Ruf Records' live revue "Blues Caravan" hits the road for the twentieth time. Past participants read like a who's who of modern blues: Ana Popovic, Samantha Fish, Aynsley Lister, Joanne Shaw Taylor. The anniversary edition brings together three artists who each carry remarkable credentials on their own.

Laura Chavez from California was for years the guitar engine behind the late Candye Kane's band (Blues Caravan 2005 & 2008) and has also played alongside Nikki Hill, Vanessa Collier, and Mitch Ryder. In 2023 she became the first woman ever to win the Blues Music Award for Best Instrumentalist - Guitar. Matthew Curry has been a fixture on North American stages for over a decade, sharing bills with Peter Frampton, the Steve Miller Band, the Doobie Brothers, and Blackberry Smoke. French singer, songwriter, and guitarist Elise Frank has fronted her electric blues and rock outfit "FRANK" since 2021 and has already appeared at the Cognac Blues Passions Festival and the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival.

The format has stayed the same for 20 years: each of the three acts plays a full set, then all three come together for a closing jam session.
