Notos Quartett - Piano Quartet

The Notos Quartett was founded in Berlin in 2007 and has made a name for itself by rediscovering overlooked works for piano quartet. Shaped artistically by members of the Mandelring and Guarneri Quartets and studies with Günter Pichler in Madrid, the ensemble performs internationally - including at Wigmore Hall in London and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

Appearances at the Rheingau Musik Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival are part of the quartet's track record, as is the ECHO Klassik award in 2017. Beyond the concert stage, the four musicians support the next generation of chamber musicians through the "Notos Chamber Music Academy".
