Notos Quartett - Piano Quartet

Founded in Berlin in 2007, the Notos Quartett has made it its mission to rediscover overlooked works for piano quartet. Shaped artistically by members of the Mandelring and Guarneri Quartets and by studies with Günter Pichler in Madrid, the ensemble performs on international stages - including Wigmore Hall in London and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

Appearances at leading festivals such as the Rheingau Musik Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival have cemented its reputation in the chamber music world. The four musicians also nurture the next generation through the "Notos Chamber Music Academy".

The quartet has received numerous awards for its work, among them the ECHO Klassik in 2017.
