Karmelek

Karmelek lives on a rural farm where everyone has their own tasks. He too wants to be useful - but the cow explains that a dog doesn't give milk, the sheep that wool can't be spun from his fur, and the hen won't let him hatch a single egg. Only the rooster agrees to let the little dog take his place in the morning wake-up call. This ends in a small disaster: the puppy can't crow, so everyone sleeps until noon the next day. Only the farmer explains to Karmelek that the friendship he offers is more precious than any material possession.

A play written in verse, aimed at the youngest audiences, full of humour and scenes that engage the public. This production is the Polish premiere of "Karmelek".
