SNEAKY JESUS from Wrocław move between jazz, experiment and collective improvisation. The quartet sees itself as a shared sound body that takes shape in the moment - guided by just two rules: don't overthink it, trust the emotions. Live, this creates a tension between structure and freedom, between control and letting go.
The four musicians have absorbed the giants of Polish jazz - Krzysztof Komeda and Tomasz Stanko - and weave that legacy together with contemporary sounds that recall the best of the British jazz scene. Their shared, often understated humour runs visibly through the music.
Since forming in spring 2019, the band has developed a distinctive identity. Albums such as For Joseph Riddle, For Chaching Taphed and the current for better future (2026) show their range; fully improvised live recordings like outta space highlight their strength in spontaneous interplay. Airplay on BBC, RTÉ and Worldwide FM, along with nominations at the Mladí Ladí Jazz competition in Prague, have brought them international attention.
