MOMO. - Tum Tum Tum Tour

MOMO.'s music has always resisted easy categorization - blending elements of Música Popular Brasileira (MPB), Tropicália, Afrobeat, folk rock, psychedelia, and jazz. The album Tum Tum Tum is no exception. It moves between moods and sonic textures: from precise bass lines through frenetic percussion to powerful brass and floating strings. The artist's gentle voice and refined guitar lines form the red thread throughout the record.

More than twenty years into his career, MOMO. views the album as a tribute to the past two decades: "This album is a poetic elegy, a wink, a memory of twenty years of music-making. The repetition of craft, resilience, and the rhythm of constant growth and hard work."

His career has taken him through Brazil, Angola, the USA, Spain, Portugal, and Great Britain. Everywhere he recorded what surrounded him - Fado in Lisbon, the jazz scene in London, the psychedelic currents of 1970s Brazil. The album is sung in Portuguese and English.
