Grzegorz Ciechowski's Birthday - Republyka Songs in Tribute to the Master

Late August marks the 69th anniversary of Grzegorz Ciechowski's birth - a musician, composer, and lyricist, one of the most important figures in Polish rock. On the eve of this anniversary, August 28th, the Gothic Hall of the Old Monastery hosts a concert featuring songs from Republyka.

Ciechowski's lyrics will be performed by Wojciech Dereń - a Wrocław-based musical theatre actor and vocalist, laureate of the 38th Actor Song Review in Wrocław. He will be accompanied by a band featuring: Żenia Betliński (bass), Tomek Jędrzejewski (piano), Michał "Moper" Wilczyński (guitar), Tomasz Garbera (drums).

The concert takes place on 28.08.2026 at 20:00 in the Gothic Hall of the Old Monastery, ul. Purkyniego 1, Wrocław.
