SILENT SUMMER. Quiet Reading in Summer at Big Book Cafe

A silent reading evening on Sunday afternoons, hosted by Anna Jeżowska and Maja Naruszewicz at the literary centre Big Book Cafe, ul. J. Dąbrowskiego 81 (Warsaw, Mokotów).

Everyone starts by briefly sharing a book that has recently moved them - then we read in silence for about an hour. Afterwards, you can chat about what you've read or simply sit together. Come with a dog, cat, friend, grandmother, or alone; bring your own blanket and read lying down or stroll around the room. Cushions, a sofa, armchairs, and cosy reading nooks await - just bring a book, choose a drink, and silence your phone.
