Once upon a time. The Wild West. A summer afternoon in a small, peaceful town. In such a setting, Ud and Nieud meet for the first time - cowboys who are more than just opposites.
Ud is a man of success, for whom everything works out - he has survived everything, experienced everything, and grown bored with everything, except perhaps the prospect of failure. Nieud, on the other hand, fails at everything: he achieves nothing, can do nothing, believes in nothing, and no one believes in him anymore. Yet he holds onto hope - and that exhausts the list of positive aspects of his existence. They meet by chance in a place both have chosen for one purpose: to take their own lives. Just as they are about to pull the trigger, a certain Lady appears and changes their relationship - to each other, to their planned self-destruction, and to their future aspirations.
Based on Sławomir Mrożek's drama, this production is a comedy in the theatrical western convention - or rather a stylistic game that exposes the possibilities and pitfalls of Wild West aesthetics. The audience will witness duels and horse races, shootouts and a train robbery, alongside a subtle analysis of how well social roles - both feminine and masculine - fit or fail to fit. Can a cowboy be a woman and pursue a Lady two heads taller in a typically romantic way without being ridiculous?...
