Giampaolo Di Rosa is an organist, pianist, harpsichordist, composer, improviser, musicologist and pedagogue. He holds seven academic diplomas. He performs throughout Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Australia, USA, South America, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore. His repertoire includes compositions from all periods, including the complete organ works of G. Frescobaldi, J. P. Sweelinck, J. S. Bach, C. Franck, F. Liszt and O. Messiaen. He has made numerous recordings, published several scientific works and, as a docent, leads international music courses. He serves as organist of the cathedral in León, the cathedral in Vila Real in Portugal and the Portuguese church in Rome. He has been awarded the Highest Order by the President of the Portuguese Republic.
