The performance poses a question rarely asked outright: does an artist have the right to disappear? We have grown accustomed to the constant presence of celebrities in the media, to reports about their private lives, and to the belief that being available to audiences and journalists is simply part of the job. But is it really?

In Joanna Szczepkowska's original production, a mature woman accidentally meets the young leader of an eccentric musical group. For the boy, entering the world of the protagonist means crossing a threshold beyond which something lurks on the edge of madness. Two personalities collide: Marta - solitary by choice, unable to find herself in the modern world - and Piotr, who chases success, fame, and constant "happening." What will come of this encounter? What secret does Marta hide? And who is the titular Pelcia?
