French horn, trumpet, trombone and tuba - instruments that usually play as an ensemble in the orchestra - this time take the spotlight as soloists. The symphonic evening of the CORNO Festival presents works written specifically for brass instruments, spanning several centuries of musical history: from the Baroque (Giuseppe Tartini, Johann Melchior Molter), through the Classical period (Johann Georg Albrechtsberger), to contemporary times (Thomas Stevens, Jacob Gordon, Øystein Baadsvik).
The stage will feature soloists from the world's leading brass performers, accompanied by the Zielona Góra Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Christian Lindberg - trombonist, conductor and composer.
