HOLLYWOOD BRASS | Greatest Hits of Film Music

Hollywood Brass is a showcase of the most famous film music themes performed by CORNO artists and instructors, alongside participants of week-long instrumental courses. Professionals and students will take the stage together, having worked collaboratively on the repertoire throughout the week.

The programme features music from Gladiator (Hans Zimmer), The Lord of the Rings trilogy (Howard Shore), Harry Potter, Jurassic Park and Superman (John Williams), as well as iconic melodies from Rocky, The Simpsons and more. The concert marks several anniversaries: the 25th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter premieres, the 50th anniversary of Rocky's premiere, and Howard Shore's 80th birthday.

The entire concert is led by James Thatcher, a French horn player with the Hollywood Studio Orchestra, whose playing can be heard in hundreds of American film productions.
