Roztańczone Rodziny / Dance Dance Baby 2026 / Movement Workshop Cycle
Common Stage in Poznań, Poland
Duration: cycle of 7 events / one event 60 minutes
Participant age: 1.5 to 9 months
A cycle of movement workshops for a closed group of families with infants aged 1.5 to 9 months. Classes take place on Tuesdays at 10:00 according to the schedule: 15 Sept, 22 Sept, 6 Oct, 13 Oct, 20 Oct, 27 Oct, 3 Nov.
Infant movements are often perceived by adults as something imperfect - merely a stage on the path to full mobility. Yet it is precisely in the first months of life that children do their most important work: they build a map of their own body, learn to locate tension, and discover their own agency.
During meetings in a stable, small group, we will observe with curiosity how our children move - and how we, as adults, move. The classes are based on simple movement and choreographic games rooted in somatic practices and the facilitator's years of experience creating performances for families. Together we will seek answers to questions: what can we learn from each other? How can movement practice based on fundamental developmental patterns support the regulation of everyday tension? How can we support our child while also caring for our own resources?
Important information:
Each adult purchases a ticket - the infant participates under the guardian's ticket. The group is fixed; single-session tickets are not available, and missed sessions cannot be made up. Latecomers will not be admitted to class and will not receive refunds for unused tickets.
The event takes place at Scena Wspólna, ul. Brandstaettera 1 / ul. Za Cytadelą, Poznań.
