Old but Spirited! A Musical Feast. Greatest Hits Gala

"Old but Spirited! A Musical Feast" is a concert in which a twelve-piece orchestra and five vocalists perform well-known hits of Polish and world popular music in original arrangements. The programme features solo pieces, duets, and ensemble performances, interspersed with commentary. The repertoire appeals to listeners of all ages and musical tastes.
The musicians are affiliated with music academies and concert venues throughout Poland. They combine experience in classical music, jazz, and popular music.
Ensemble Members:
Mateusz Misztal - project director, vocalist. Graduated from the State Music School Grade I in Zgierz in the clarinet class (Adam Brzozowski) and the Capitol Music School in Wrocław. He performed on the stage of the Capitol Musical Theatre in the productions "Gala of World Musicals" and "The Master and Margarita". For many years he danced in the folk ensembles "Boruta" and "Bychlewianka", performing at festivals in Portugal, Italy and Romania. Currently vocalist of the band Spoko Loko.
Kacper Nowak - artistic director, oboe. Graduate (with distinction) of the Karol Lipinski Music Academy in Wrocław in the oboe class of Prof. Waldemar Korpak. He participated in the European Workshop for Contemporary Music, Orchestral Academy of Hamburg Orchestra and the European Student Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in Poland, Germany, France, Italy and Sweden. Graduate of master's studies in social project management at the University of Wrocław. Recipient of national and international awards.
Dominika Cecot - second violin. Second-year master's student at the Karol Lipinski Music Academy in Wrocław in the class of Prof. Dr. Hab. Bartosz Bryła. In the 2023/2024 season she collaborated with the Sudety Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
Katarzyna Schulz - first violin. Master of Arts and student at the Karol Lipinski Music Academy in Wrocław. She began playing the violin at age 5. Multiple competition laureate.
