Folk Solution Concert - Śląsk Song and Dance Ensemble in the name of Stanisław Hadyna

The performance by the Śląsk Song and Dance Ensemble in the name of Stanisław Hadyna poses a question about the relevance of folklore and its place in contemporary culture - does folk tradition still inspire, and is knowledge of it necessary when creating new stage forms?

The show merges Polish folklore with electronic music and contemporary dance. It consists of two parts: "Tradition and Modernity" and "Folk Solution", which juxtapose the emotional richness of folk culture with the dynamic, industrial reality of today's world.

The entire performance takes the form of an artistic "clash of opposites" that invites reflection on the role of cultural heritage. The premiere of the spectacle took place at the Tauron New Music Katowice festival in 2021.
