Broadway and West End by Candlelight - Masters of the Musical

A candlelit concert featuring music from Broadway and the West End - the programme includes arias and songs from the greatest musicals, performed in intimate, acoustic arrangements.

The repertoire features works by Andrew Lloyd Webber: The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Wicked, Waitress and Dear Evan Hansen. The programme is rounded out with hits from The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and classics from Singin' in the Rain and Funny Girl.

On stage: Krzysztof Knapczyk (tenor) - a graduate of opera singing from the Academy of Music in Łódź and Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart, co-creator of the projects Queen Symphonically and A Tribute to Il Divo - The 3 Tenors, and soprano singers (including Angelika Gaj, Adrianna Zuchmańska) who work regularly in musical theatres, opera houses and philharmonic halls. The female cast rotates. They are accompanied by Trio BognaBand: Bogna Dulińska (piano), Sylwester Masłoń (double bass) and Błażej Kozłowski (drums) - musicians from the Łódź Philharmonic.
