Workshop | Black Book Practice: sketch session | Led by: Elita Graffshop | URBAN ART AREA 6

Black Book Practice is a sketch session led by Elita Graffshop, open to both beginners and experienced participants. Materials will be provided on-site, including blackbooks for painting, coloring pages, markers, and sketching supplies. The program covers letter design, graffiti style fundamentals, and a presentation of graffiti albums from around the world - from Warsaw to New York. Special guests will also share their own blackbooks.

Duration: approximately 2 hours. Children under 12 may participate under parental or guardian supervision. Spaces are limited. Participation in Urban Art Academy grants free entry to the Urban Art Area 6 exhibition. For more information, visit the organizer's website.

The workshop is part of Urban Art Area 6 - an urban art exhibition open daily (except Mondays) from July 4 to August 2, 2026 at Dom Towarowy Bracia Jabłkowscy, ul. Bracka 25 in Warsaw. The exhibition is accompanied by the Urban Art Academy educational program, which includes creative workshops, lectures, artist meetings, and film screenings at KinoMuzeum at the Museum of Modern Art.

Urban Art Area 6 takes place under the honorary patronage of the President of Warsaw, is co-financed by the City of Warsaw as part of the public task "Warsaw Cultural Festivals", and the Urban Art Academy project was funded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund.
