Workshop | Mechanization: Combining Urban Art Techniques | Led by Taki Myk | URBAN ART AREA 6 — Dom Towarowy Bracia Jabłkowscy, Warsaw

A workshop led by Taki Myk (Wojciech Wiśniewski) exploring the combination of various urban art techniques. Duration: approximately 2 hours.

Taki Myk is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at Warsaw University of Technology and has been involved with graffiti since 1995. He started with writing, moved to street logo, and then focused on hand-cut stencils - today he combines this technique with other painting methods. He is the initiator and main organizer of Szablon Dżemu, which has been nominated twice for the international Stencil Art Prize. He has painted on the streets of cities across Poland and Europe, including Berlin, Prague, Budapest, London, Paris, and Barcelona. For many years, he has been teaching courses in street art, graffiti, and screen printing.

Participation in the Urban Art Academy workshops grants free entry to the Urban Art Area 6 exhibition. Children under 12 may participate under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Places are limited - for more information, visit the organizer's website.

The workshops take place as part of Urban Art Area 6 - an exhibition open daily except Mondays, from July 4 to August 2, 2026, at Dom Towarowy Bracia Jabłkowscy, ul. Brackiej 25 in Warsaw. The event has the honorary patronage of the President of Warsaw and is co-financed by the City of Warsaw. The Urban Art Academy project has been supported by funding from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund.
