A workshop from the Urban Art Academy series led by Make It Simple - Lech Maślankiewicz, a painter, graphic designer, and muralist who graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He has numerous solo and group exhibitions to his name; his paintings and murals have found their way into homes, offices, and public spaces. In his work, he plays with forms and colours, combining them in unexpected ways. This workshop focuses on painting on canvas while exploring form.
Duration: approximately 2 hours. Participant numbers are limited. Children under 12 may attend under parental or guardian supervision. Participation in Urban Art Academy grants free entry to the Urban Art Area 6 exhibition. More information on the organizer's website.
Urban Art Area 6 will occupy two floors of the Dom Towarowy Bracia Jabłkowscy building at ul. Brackiej 25 in Warsaw. The exhibition is open daily except Mondays from 4 July to 2 August 2026. Over 60 urban art creators will participate, and the displayed works - murals, graffiti, stencils, stickers, sculptures, graphics, installations and more - will be available for purchase. The Urban Concept Store will also feature collectible merchandise.
The event is under the honorary patronage of the President of Warsaw and co-financed by the City of Warsaw as part of the public task "Warsaw Cultural Festivals".
