Lecture | From Cave to Graffiti: Why Has Humanity Left Marks on Walls for Thousands of Years? | Led by Rojber | URBAN ART AREA 6 — Dom Towarowy Bracia Jabłkowscy, Warsaw

An original lecture by Rojber exploring the history of humanity's need to leave marks on vertical surfaces - from cave paintings to contemporary graffiti. The presentation weaves together threads from archaeology, psychology, and street culture, seeking to answer what ancient cave drawings, signatures on walls, and modern street art have in common. The talk examines presence, memory, territory, play, and a simple human impulse: "I was here".

Rojber is a street artist whose work has appeared on walls across Poland and abroad since 2018. His signature motif is a pig, though over time he has developed his own alphabet of characters, expanding the range of personalities and emotions conveyed on city walls. He has long been fascinated by anthropology and the history of traces left by humans.

Duration: approximately 2 hours. Participant numbers are limited - see the organizer's website for details. Attendance at Urban Art Academy includes free entry to the Urban Art Area 6 exhibition. Children under 12 may attend with a parent or guardian.
