Theatre Performance "Separatka" — Mediateka Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Grodzisk Mazowiecki

On Monday, 12 October at 7 p.m. at the Mediateka (ul. 3 Maja 57, Grodzisk Mazowiecki), the performance "Separatka" will take place - a comedy that beneath its light form conceals a piercing truth about reality.

The play is written and directed by Joanna Szczepkowska. The cast includes Dorota Landowska and Joanna Szczepkowska. The production was created by Teatr Polski in Warsaw and the Joanna Szczepkowska Foundation for Artistic and Social Initiatives; the producer is Arkadiusz Skrodzki. The premiere took place on 7 December 2024 at the Chamber Stage of Teatr Polski in Warsaw.

The protagonists are two women who would never have met by chance. Marta and Alina find themselves in a hospital room designed for one person - neither is willing to give way, as each believes the single room rightfully belongs to her. Forced into each other's company, they struggle to survive until someone arrives to decide for them. Clashing personalities and conflicting views lead to tension, amusing misunderstandings, and unexpected plot twists, while each woman's perspective proves far more complex than it initially appears.

The event is supported by the Mazovian Voivodeship Self-Government.
