Four Sides of Folklore - Workshops 13-08-2026

A new international festival at the Ethnographic Museum in Toruń presents folk music in the forms it is practiced today - showcasing different performance approaches and ways of interpreting tradition.

The programme features dances and music from various regions of the world performed by folk ensembles from Lithuania, Turkey, Algeria, Senegal, Kenya, Comoros, and Taiwan, as well as artistic arrangements of traditional sounds from India's Rajasthan.

Workshops in traditional songs sung in "white voice" offer a chance for those who want to try their hand at folk singing.
