Musical Tale "Peter and the Wolf" | Musical Sundays for Little Ones

A family concert for children and parents featuring the musical tale "Peter and the Wolf" based on Sergei Prokofiev's composition - arranged for a classical wind quintet (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn) with the narrator's part performed by the musicians.

Before the tale unfolds, the musicians will introduce each instrument and play the characteristic motif assigned to individual characters: the Bird is represented by the flute, the Duck by the oboe, the Cat by the clarinet, the Wolf by the French horn, and the Grandfather by the bassoon. The story follows a folk narrative about a brave boy who outwits the wolf - illustrated through music, complete with effects such as the flute's chirping for the Bird and the oboe's quacking for the Duck.

The artists are soloists with the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk and the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, graduates of the UMFC in Warsaw, the Academy of Music in Łódź, the Academy of Music in Wrocław, and the Academy of Music in Gdańsk.
