"Song of Our Land" - an evening of Polish songs
Performers: Bogumiła Dziel-Wawrowska (soprano), Robert Szpręgiel (baritone), Tadeusz Melon (violin), Małgorzata Piszek (piano).
Bogumiła Dziel-Wawrowska - soprano. Doctor of Musical Arts (2020), graduate of the Vocal-Acting Faculty at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (2004, class of Prof. Jadwiga Rappé) and the Song Studio at the same institution (2016). She made her debut while still a student, performing the role of the Countess in Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro". Since then, she has regularly performed in theatrical productions and concert galas in Poland and abroad - in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, France, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, Belarus, Israel, Palestine, Canada, and Taiwan. She has collaborated with Łukasz Borowicz, Gabriel Chmura, Agnieszka Duczmal, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Shlomo Mintz, and Tadeusz Wicherk.
Robert Szpręgiel - baritone. Graduate of the Gdańsk Academy of Music named after Stanisław Moniuszko. He worked at the Roma Musical Theatre in Warsaw, where he performed in roles including Morpheus in Offenbach's "Orpheus in the Underworld", in "Peter, Sir" to music by J. Stokłosa, and in "Miss Saigon" by C. Schönberg. He subsequently joined the Warsaw Chamber Opera and is currently a soloist with the Polish Royal Opera, where he performs roles in operas by Mozart, Rossini, and Moniuszko. He collaborates with the Central Artistic Ensemble of the Polish Armed Forces and performs in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Slovenia, and Japan.
Tadeusz Melon - violinist, composer, and arranger. Graduate of the Music Academy in Łódź in violin (1996) and composition (2001). Author of the oratorio MAGNIFICAT DE CLAROMONTANA - a votive offering for the beatification of the Primate of the Millennium, Blessed Stefan Cardinal Wyszyński, and the oratorio STABAT MATER commemorating the 40th anniversary of the martyrdom of Blessed Father Jerzy Popiełuszko. He performs with orchestras, choirs, and soloists in Poland and abroad.
