Ewa Uryga brings an evening of beautiful jazz standards to Kalisz on Friday, 27 November 2026 at the Aula im. prof. Jerzego Rubińskiego, starting at 19:00. The concert features the voices of Ewa Uryga and Oliwia Skrzypczyk alongside a band led by pianist Zaccai Curtis and the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra of Kalisz. Zaccai Curtis is an American jazz pianist based in New York, known for his work in Latin jazz and post-bop. Together with his brother Luques Curtis on bass, he co-leads the Curtis Brothers band and has recorded several albums for the Truth Revolution label. He also performs regularly as a sideman with vocalists and larger ensembles.

Luques Curtis is an American jazz bassist based in New York, known for his work alongside his brother, pianist Zaccai Curtis. The two have collaborated extensively both as a duo and with various jazz ensembles, drawing on Afro-Cuban and straight-ahead jazz traditions. Luques has performed and recorded with artists across the contemporary jazz scene.
