Winter Competition - St. Nicholas Family Concert

The Kalisz Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra performs at the Aula im. prof. Jerzego Rubińskiego in Kalisz on Friday, 4 December 2026 at 18:00 with the family concert "Winter Competitions - St. Nicholas Family Concert". This is one of nine Polish dates for the orchestra this season. The programme brings together classical winter and festive works: Tchaikovsky's "Waltz of the Snowflakes", Anderson's "Sleigh Ride", Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King" from Peer Gynt, Debussy's "The Snow is Dancing", Prokofiev's "Troika", and Waldteufel's "The Skaters' Waltz". The repertoire is rounded out by Jarosław Praszczałek's "Winter Competitions". The concert is designed for families seeking festive atmosphere accompanied by the orchestra.
