John Daversa Quartet is an international project bringing together musicians from the United States, Australia, and Poland, performing as part of the WąbJAZZno 6 festival.

Leading the ensemble is John Daversa - a three-time Grammy Award winner, trumpeter, composer, producer, and professor at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. He has collaborated with Herbie Hancock, Burt Bacharach, The Yellowjackets, Dr. Dre, and Fiona Apple. On piano is Tal Cohen, an Australian-Israeli pianist based in the USA, winner of the Barry Harris National Piano Competition and Freedman Fellowship. His album Gentle Giants was recognized as one of the best jazz releases of 2018; he has worked with Joe Lovano, Terence Blanchard, Greg Osby, and Ignacio Berroa.

The rhythm section features two Polish musicians. Sebastian Kuchczyński - drummer, graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice and Berklee College of Music in Boston, three-time Fryderyk nominee, winner of jazz competitions in Poland, Belgium, and Spain. He has collaborated with Zbigniew Namysłowski, Wojciech Karolak, Janusz Muniak, Piotr Wojtasik, Maciej Sikala, George Garzone, and Victor Mendoza. On double bass is Andrzej Święs, whose discography includes over sixty albums, many with Fryderyk nominations. He has performed with Lee Konitz, Randy Brecker, Greg Osby, Stewart Copeland, Jules Buckley, Adam Pierończyk, Jan "Ptaszyn" Wróblewski, Dominik Wania, Marek Napiórkowski, and Aga Zaryan.
