Mietek Szcześniak - 40 Years on Stage

This year's WąbJAZZno festival features a jubilee concert by Mietek Szcześniak celebrating 40 years of his artistic career. Szcześniak is a three-time Fryderyk Award winner and recipient of major prizes at the Polish Song Festival in Opole and the Sopot Festival. He is best known to the wider public for his duet with Edyta Górniak, "Dumka na dwa serca". His discography includes the albums Czarno na białym, Songs From Yesterday, Zwykły cud, Sings, and Nierówni.

During the concert in Wąbrzeźno, a selection of works spanning four decades will be performed - from jazz improvisation through soul and gospel to original compositions.
