About the venue

The Aula Leopoldina is the ceremonial hall of the University of Wrocław, completed in 1728 and considered one of the finest Baroque interiors in Central Europe. Its ceiling frescoes, gilded stucco and monumental paintings celebrate the sciences and the Habsburg patrons who founded the university. Today it hosts academic ceremonies, classical concerts and prestigious cultural events.
