The Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź is housed in a 19th-century cotton mill - the White Factory (Biała Fabryka) built by Ludwig Geyer in 1835. It holds one of Europe's largest collections of fabrics, looms and machinery tracing the history of the textile industry. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions, art events and the International Triennial of Tapestry.
