About the venue

Kamieniołomy is a former limestone quarry on the outskirts of Kazimierz Dolny, Poland, set on the high right bank of the Vistula river near the ferry crossing to Janowiec. Quarrying here spanned several centuries and ceased only in the 1980s; the stone was used for buildings in Kazimierz Dolny and beyond. Today the site serves as an open-air venue for concerts and music festivals, including the annual Kazimiernikejszyn festival.
