Katedra Marii Magdaleny

Wrocław

About the venue

The Cathedral of St Mary Magdalene is a Gothic brick church in Wrocław near the Market Square, built in its current three-nave form in 1355–1360. It now serves as the cathedral of the Wrocław diocese of the Polish Catholic Church. In 1523 the first Evangelical sermon in Silesia was preached here. The church is famous for the Mostek Pokutnic (Bridge of Penitents), a footbridge linking the towers at 45 metres above ground.
