About the venue

The Cistercian Abbey in Lubiąż is one of the largest monastic complexes in the world, stretching along the Oder river in Lower Silesia. Founded in the 12th century, the baroque palace-like complex was built mainly in the 17th and 18th centuries and features a grand church, lavishly decorated halls, and vast monastic wings. Today it hosts cultural events, concerts, and exhibitions, and is managed by a foundation working to restore the historic buildings.
