About the venue

The Church of the Holy Cross and St. Bartholomew is a Gothic hall church on Ostrów Tumski, built in the 14th century at the initiative of Duke Henry IV Probus. Its unusual two-storey layout - a lower chapel beneath a full upper church - makes it one of the most distinctive medieval buildings in Wrocław. The church regularly hosts organ and chamber music concerts.
