Opera Krakowska is Kraków's main opera house, staging full-scale opera and ballet productions throughout the season. The current building on ul. Lubicz dates from the 1950s, though the company's roots go back to the interwar period. Its repertoire spans Italian and German classics alongside Polish works, and the house regularly hosts visiting ensembles and international soloists.
