About the venue

The Forest Opera in Sopot is one of the largest open-air amphitheatres in Europe, nestled among the hills of a beech forest on the edge of the Trójmiejski Landscape Park. Built in 1909, it seats around 5,000 spectators and has hosted the International Song Festival since 1961 - the event that made Sopot a household name across the continent. Opera, pop concerts and theatrical productions fill its summer programme.
