Piwnica pod Baranami (Cellar under the Rams) is a legendary Polish literary cabaret housed in the Gothic cellars of the Pałac pod Baranami on Kraków's Main Market Square. Founded by Piotr Skrzynecki in 1956, it was for over thirty years the most renowned political cabaret in communist Poland. Today it continues to host cabaret performances, jazz concerts, tango evenings, and other cultural events.
