Chorzów
TAURON Park Śląski in Chorzów is one of the largest urban parks in Europe, covering over 535 hectares. It was established in the 1950s on reclaimed post-industrial land in Upper Silesia and attracts over 3 million visitors a year. The park is home to the Silesian Zoo, Silesian Planetarium, Silesian Stadium, the Wesołe Miasteczko amusement park, and the "Elka" cable railway.
