About the venue

Tor Służewiec (Służewiec Racecourse) is a horse-racing venue in the Ursynów district of Warsaw, opened on 3 June 1939. It was designed by architect Zygmunt Plater-Zyberk in a functionalist style and was at the time the most modern racecourse in Europe. The racing season runs from April to November with around 50 race days. The venue also hosts large-scale concerts and cultural events.
