Canadian group Voivod will perform at Arena Wien on Wednesday, 15 July 2026 at 19:00. This is one of two Austrian dates for the band during their European tour — the second show is scheduled in Salzburg. Arena Wien, a legendary alternative cultural and music venue in Vienna's 3rd district, is housed in a former slaughterhouse and has hosted indoor and outdoor concerts since 1976. Voivod, a Canadian thrash metal legend known for its experimental approach to the genre, returns to European stages.

About: Voivod

Formed in Québec in 1982, Voivod spent four decades building one of metal's most distinctive catalogs - sci-fi concept albums driven by dissonant riffs, odd time signatures and a restless creative vision. Their 2022 Juno Award-winning album Synchro Anarchy and the freshly released symphonic live record Symphonique (2026) show a band with no intention of standing still.
