The Lemon Twigs
The Lemon Twigs are Long Island brothers Brian and Michael D'Addario, who blend the singer-songwriter energy of the '70s with a deep love of musical theater and a flair for over-the-top live performance. They grew up in a musical household - both parents were working musicians - and early influences from '60s and '70s baroque pop left a lasting mark on their sound.
The brothers started writing songs in their early teens. In 2015 they released the cassette-only album What We Know, and the following year signed to an indie label, putting out the single "These Words" b/w "As Long as We're Together". Their debut album Do Hollywood (2016) brought swift recognition: strong critical notices, TV appearances, and extensive touring.
Each subsequent record has expanded their range: the conceptually eccentric Go to School (2018), the varied but equally bombastic Songs for the General Public (2020), and then the more emotionally exposed Everything Harmony (2023) and A Dream Is All We Know (2024). Live, they are joined by Danny Ayala on keyboards and Megan Zeankowski on bass.
