The Lemon Twigs
American indie rock band The Lemon Twigs perform at Bahnhof Pauli in Hamburg.
The Lemon Twigs are an American rock duo from Hicksville, Long Island, formed by brothers Brian and Michael D'Addario - sons of musician Ronnie D'Addario - who began writing songs while still in their teens. Their sound draws on 1960s and 1970s power pop, glam rock, art rock and musical theatre, and both brothers sing, play multiple instruments, and self-produce. Debut album 'Do Hollywood' (2016, 4AD) brought immediate critical attention, and the band has since built a catalogue of six studio albums marked by rich vocal harmonies and restless stylistic range. The Times described them as combining the melodic soft rock of Wings and Supertramp with the underground cool of Big Star and the theatricality of Broadway musicals.
The Lemon Twigs released their sixth studio album 'Look for Your Mind!' on May 8, 2026 via Captured Tracks, recorded to 16-track tape at their Brooklyn studio.
The band announced a 2026 world tour spanning North America, the UK, Ireland, and Europe, with over 34 upcoming dates.
Lead single 'I Just Can't Get Over Losing You' was released on March 11, 2026, ahead of the new album.
Brian D'Addario released his debut solo album 'Till the Morning' on March 20, 2025, the first release on the brothers' own Headstack Records label.
Fifth album 'A Dream Is All We Know' was released on May 3, 2024 via Captured Tracks, with one track co-produced by Sean Ono Lennon.
