About the venue

The former synagogue in Kobersdorf - a village near Eisenstadt in Burgenland - is one of the best-preserved rural synagogues in Austria. Built in the 18th century, it served the local Jewish community until the Nazi era. Today the building is a protected monument and hosts cultural events, exhibitions and commemorative gatherings.
