About the venue

The Former Synagogue (Ehemalige Synagoge) in Sankt Pölten is a historic Jewish house of worship built in 1913 in Moorish Revival style. Severely damaged during the November Pogrom of 1938, the building survived and was later repurposed as a cultural venue. Today it hosts exhibitions, concerts, and cultural events, serving as a memorial site and centre for Jewish history in Lower Austria.
