The Kurgarten at Schloss Mirabell is a formal baroque garden in central Salzburg, laid out in the early 18th century and redesigned after a fire in 1818. Framed by hedgerows, marble statues and fountains, it serves as an open-air stage for summer concerts and public events. The garden featured in the film "The Sound of Music" (1965) and remains one of the most visited green spaces in the city.
