Schloss Mirabell is a baroque palace in the heart of Salzburg, originally built in 1606 and redesigned by Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt in the early 18th century. Its Innenhof (inner courtyard) serves as an elegant open-air venue for concerts, cultural events, and summer festivals. The palace and its famous gardens are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and gained international fame as a filming location for The Sound of Music.
